Objectives:

The main objective of the “Design Thinking Workshop” was to introduce students to the concepts of design thinking and its application in problem-solving, cultivate creative thinking and innovation among participants, encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration, and provide practical experience in applying design thinking to real-world challenges.

Detailed Report:

On 3rd & 6th November 2023, the Lloyd Group of Institutions, campus 2 organised a Design Thinking Workshop - an event focused on the IBM Design Thinking process. The event was held lecture hall, exclusively for the BBA1st & 2nd year - Business Analytics students.

The workshop started with the trainer Dr. Neetu Kamra who introduced and discussed in detail the concept of design thinking and its process. It was a very interactive session as students were involved and participated in the creative games and learned new concepts of design thinking. This session equipped students with essential problem-solving skills, fostered innovation, and promoted effective collaboration. Such interactive workshops on design thinking must held in the future as it is very beneficial for future careers.
