The objective of “Diwali carnival” was to provide the opportunities to the students to showcase their festive side.
On November 8, 2023, the Aakruti club of Lloyd Group of Institutions organised “Diwali Carnival” – an event focused on the theme “showcasing your festive side”. The event was held at Campus 2, exclusively for the BBA and B. Com students.
The first activity was diya making where the students needed to decorate the diya and showcase their creative side and creative ideas. The time limit to decorate the diya was 1 hour. The judges rated the students on different criteria like originality, colour coordination, cleanliness and overall presentation.
The second activity was rangoli making, where the students had to make rangoli with their respective teams. The time limit was 1.5 hours. The students displayed their creativity and design skills to create stunning rangoli patterns. The judges rated the students on different criteria like rangoli design, colour coordination, cleanliness and all over presentation.
The third activity was classroom decoration, where the students transformed their classrooms into festive paradise with their creativity. The time limit was 1.5 hours. The judges rated the students on the different criteria like relevance to diwali theme, creativity, cleanliness and overall presentation.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners of each category were announced and awarded.
