The objective of the event was to give the BBA final-year students a farewell on the successful completion of their journey. The event was organized to give the blessing and best wishes to the final year students who are now going to face the real world full of opportunity and competition. And to make the evening for the final-year students the most memorable one.
TheFarewell 2023 was held on 17th June 2023, at Lloyd Group of Institutions, Seminar Hall, Campus 1 for the final year outgoing students. The event was organized by Farewell Organising Committee to celebrate the successful completion of the journey of BBA batch 2020-2023, aiming to bid farewell and express gratitude to the departing students. The farewell party brought together friends, seniors-juniors, and well-wishers to celebrate the accomplishments and valuable time at Lloyd Institute and create lasting memories. It was an emotional event filled with heartfelt memories and moments shared by everyone present at the event. Around 1.00 pm the function had begun with the theme “Holly-Bolly” and was followed by the performances of the second-year and final-year students. The farewell party commenced with opening remarks from the hosts. Several individuals, including colleagues, friends, and superiors, were allowed to share their heartfelt sentiments and memories with the departing students. Then it was followed by the graceful presence of our Group Director and Chief Strategy Officer Prof. (Dr.).Vandana Arora Sethi addressed the outgoing students and gave them the best wishes for their future and also motivated them by sharing a wonderful story. It was further followed by the dynamic ramp walk of the students. The ramp walk also included question-answering so that the winners of Ms. Farewell and Mr. Farewell could be decided with several other tags. And it further moved on by the amazing dance performances of the seniors which were very much enjoyed by all the students and teachers presented there. Soon after this, felicitations were given to all tag winners. These speeches and tributes highlighted their achievements, contributions, and the impact they had on the organization or community.
A carefully curated audio-visual presentation showcased a montage of memorable moments, accomplishments, and shared experiences. This visual tribute allowed attendees to reminisce and appreciate the journey of the departing students. A special segment was dedicated to presenting gifts and tokens of appreciation to the departing students. These gifts were chosen to be meaningful and personalized, symbolizing the gratitude and well-wishes of the attendees. To foster a joyful and engaging environment, the farewell party included various interactive activities. These activities could include games, group photos, or other forms of entertainment, allowing guests to relax, interact, and create lasting memories together. The farewell party concluded with closing remarks from the Head of the Department, Prof. (Dr.) Shilpi Sarna, and expressing appreciation to all attendees for their presence and participation. The hosts also reiterated their gratitude towards the departing students and emphasized the significance of their contributions.
The farewell party was a fitting tribute to the departing students, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a sense of appreciation. It is hoped that the event served as a meaningful send-off and a source of inspiration for future endeavors.
