The guest lecture on "Navigating Your Management Journey" was organized with the aim of providing valuable insights and guidance to aspiring and current managers, as well as individuals interested in developing their management skills. The lecture featured an accomplished expert in the field of management who shared their experiences, knowledge, and practical tips for successfully navigating the challenges and opportunities that arise in a managerial role.
Lloyd Group of Institutions organised a guest lecture on “Navigating You Management Career Journey” on 26th August 2023. The speaker of the session was Mr. Kapil Bharadwaj, a seasoned management professional with 10+years of experience in various industries. The speaker's extensive background included leadership roles and is currently the Vice President of Sales. This rich and diverse experience made him an ideal choice to deliver insights into the multifaceted world of management. The session was conducted via Zoom platform and was attended by around 110-120 students, along with the Head of the Department and other faculty members. The speaker shared personal anecdotes and case studies to shed light on the challenges that managers commonly face, such as conflict resolution, team motivation, and decision-making under pressure. Strategies for addressing these challenges were discussed, focusing on fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work culture.
The lecture explored strategies for assembling, nurturing, and leading high-performance teams. The speaker highlighted the significance of diversity and inclusion in teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and recognizing and rewarding team achievements.
