The objective of “Parichay” was to provide new students with the opportunity to connect with their peers and seniors, fostering better social interactions through engaging ice-breaking activities. The event featured fun self-introduction exercises and showcased their incredible talents.
On October 27, 2023, the Lloyd Group of Institutions organised “Parichay” – an event focused on the theme “Knowing You – Knowing Others.” The event was held at Campus 2, Law Auditorium, exclusively for the BBA and B. Com batches of 2023 students. The event started with a welcome speech by Dr. Shilpi Sarna, HOD Undergraduate Management Programs, who greeted and encouraged the students to participate actively. She also introduced the judges and the coordinators of the event. The first activity was a self-introduction exercise, where each student had to introduce himself/ herself in a creative way. Some students used props, some used poems, some used jokes, and some used songs to introduce themselves. The judges evaluated the students on their confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
The second activity was a talent show, where the students had to perform in one of the categories: dance, singing, and standup comedy. The students displayed their amazing talents and entertained the audience with their performances. The judges rated the students on different criteria like confidence, originality, expression, and presentation.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners of each category were announced and awarded. The winners of the event were:
